Review: Cateye Cafe

The Cateye Cafe is an "all-meals diner" in downtown Bozeman. I had pancakes there this morning - pretty good, but they were the first pancakes I'd had in many months, so who knows. The restaurant is bit more upscale/bohemian (????) than Mainstreet Overeasy or the Western Cafe.

The Cateye Cafe has a weird schedule, so be sure to check their website before visiting.

The cateye is a fair restaurant, but not great. Their home fries are not satisfying if you are craving hash browns, and their breakfasts are average. The thing that makes the cateye compelling is the atmosphere and the cute "cateye rules". Also you get a discount if you wear cateye glasses. it is an ok place to send tourists too, but I only go there if the Stockyard and Main Street Overeasy are extremely full.

For others who visit - look out for the mouse in the back wall, and check out what could happen if you wear an ugly tie...
