I find it very disconcerting that at the same time this author is voicing some chagrin at the volume of influx from somewhere else, at the bottom of the article are ads for realtors, ranches and $300/hr jobs. If indeed there are $300/hr jobs to be had in Montana, why then are all the youth leaving the state?

Wow...interesting essay. I love *both* sides of Montana, and figure that we're a big enough place to "accept" them both.

I think it was nice to hear a bit of positive about my wonderful home state....I love the small towns no matter how small they are getting. :)
made me homesick now i'm in Malta (europe) and not in Bozeman (Montana).
