I admit it: I skipped to the end of the last Harry Potter book. In fact, the only HP I've read was the last few chapters of the last book. Based on that small sample, it seems like an interesting series.
(I have seen all the movies ;-)

OK- The books are sooooooooooo much better than the movies! Not that the movies are "bad" but you cannot always translate the magic onto the big screen. They also have to leave a lot out due to time(no one wants to see a 6 hour movie.)
